KAITLYN LAWRENCE
Kaitlyn is from Denver, Colorado and has studied many dance forms such as tap, modern, contemporary, ballet, jazz, and hip hop. Kaitlyn holds a BFA in dance with an emphasis in choreography as well as a degree in Neuroscience from the University of Colorado Boulder. At CU Boulder, she had the privilege of taking class from nationally recognized artists such as Michelle Ellsworth, Erika Randall, Helanius J. Wilkins, and Gesel Mason. Kaitlyn attended the American College Dance Association several times throughout her college career and presented her choreography at the 2017 conference in Eugene, OR. Kaitlyn is currently a company member of Rocky Mountain Rhythm, Colorado's only tap company, and teaches at various dance studios in the Denver area. In addition to teaching, Kaitlyn works as a freelance stage manager and has toured the country as a stage manager for Helanius J. Wilkins in Washington DC at Dance Place, for Olivia Dwyer Dance Projects in New York City at Gibney Dance Center, and for Rennie Harris Grassroots Project in Colorado Springs at Colorado College. Most recently, Kaitlyn had the opportunity to further her training as a dancer and technician at The Yard, a summer dance festival on Martha's Vineyard.
